Raw Spice

Having developed a love for cooking from my early teens, I learnt quickly that simple, everyday spices that took pride of place in a traditional masala dabba spice tin could create a huge array of flavours when added to different dishes from a simple rice dish to an elaborate biryani. When they say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, they weren’t wrong - flavours invoke emotions and bring joy and happiness to every occasion. Perfecting family recipes passed down generations became my stimulus to experiment further.  A sense of curiosity led to creating savoury and sweet blends and as my appetite to learn more about global cuisine grew, I started to experiment with herbs and spices to create niche mixes and so it began. Now having children of my own, I have become even more passionate about cooking homemade, flavoursome food and drinks using simple ingredients. My all time favourite spices are cumin and chilli! Our versatile blends, seasonings and rubs can be added to a vast variety of dishes and health drinks for instant simple yet sophisticated flavours.
